Soft Wash That Kills the Biology

Your home's exterior is the first thing every neighbor, visitor, and potential buyer sees. When green algae is climbing the north-facing siding, black mold is spreading across the foundation, or oxidation is dulling what used to be bright white trim — it changes how the entire property reads. House washing is the fastest, most cost-effective way to restore it.

The right method for exterior siding is almost never high-pressure washing. Forcing high-PSI water against vinyl, Hardie board, wood, or painted surfaces can drive moisture behind the panels, crack caulk joints, strip paint, and void manufacturer warranties. Soft washing — the technique we use on every house exterior — achieves better results with none of those risks.

Soft washing uses low-pressure water combined with biodegradable cleaning solutions that kill mold, mildew, algae, and organic growth at the root. Because the biology is killed rather than relocated, the results last 2–3 years. A standard pressure wash might look the same on day one, but the regrowth appears within months because the root system was never addressed.

Ohio's climate is particularly hard on home exteriors. The combination of summer humidity, deciduous tree coverage, and cold-wet winters creates ideal conditions for mold and algae growth — especially on north-facing and shaded surfaces.
